- SMTP Port:
587 - Connection Security: TLS (STARTTLS)

5
Save
Click Save.
From address filtering
In the same outgoing mail server record, set From Filter to a domain or email address if you want this server to be used only for specific senders. This is useful when you have multiple mail servers and want Odoo to route email intelligently. Leave it empty to use this server as the default for all outgoing mail.Odoo 17 and later
Odoo 17 introduced a simplified Use a custom email server option in Settings → General Settings → Discuss. When enabled, you can configure an outgoing mail server without entering developer mode. The fields are the same as above: SMTP server, port, username, and password.Odoo Online (the hosted SaaS version) may have restrictions on custom email servers and may require using Odoo’s built-in email gateway instead. If the custom server option is unavailable or testing fails, contact your Odoo provider or support@mysmtp.com for guidance.
Troubleshooting
