# Set Up Google Postmaster Tools and Microsoft SNDS Monitoring

> Monitor your sender reputation with Google Postmaster Tools and Microsoft SNDS. Learn how to verify access, read the dashboards, and keep your IP healthy.

Google Postmaster Tools and Microsoft Smart Network Data Services (SNDS) are free dashboards that show how major mailbox providers view your mail. Setting up both lets you spot reputation problems before they become delivery failures.

</Warning>

### When mySMTP must approve

If the verification email goes to a mySMTP-managed contact address, mySMTP may need to approve the request. If you do not receive the verification email or your request is pending, contact [support@mysmtp.com](mailto:support@mysmtp.com).

### Interpreting SNDS data

| Metric | What to watch |
| - | - |
| Green/Yellow/Red status | Green is healthy. Yellow means caution. Red means your IP is blocked or filtered. |
| Spam complaint rate | Keep below 0.1%. |
| Trap hits | Messages sent to spam trap addresses. Even a few hits can damage reputation. |
| Message volume | Sudden spikes without warmup can trigger throttling. |
| Filter results | Whether messages were delivered, filtered to junk, or rejected. |

<Tip>
  Use the warmup generator at [toolbox.smtp.ai](https://toolbox.smtp.ai/#warmup-generator) to build a safe volume ramp when launching a new dedicated IP.
